Cattle

The barn doors open Thursday, March 28th to prime examples of Western Canada beef cattle. Located in the Royal Farmyard (Kinsmen Arena), visitors are invited to stroll through Cattle Country, and take in the shows on the Learning Stage.

The beef breeds represented at our show will include: Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Simmental, Limousin, as well as Commercial Cattle.

The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair Cattle Show is primarily a junior show that provides young beef producers with an opportunity to gain valuable experience, get feedback from experts in the industry and network with fellow producers. We are proud to be able to facilitate a learning environment for these young breeders who are the future of our important cattle industry.

Exhibitors will be competing in the following classes:

  • Prospect Steer Show
  • Market Steer Show
  • Klondike Showmanship
  • All Breeds Heifer Show
  • Royal Lady Jackpot Heifer Show

The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair Cattle Show Committee is pleased to present two clinics with Kirk Stierwalt! The clinics will be Tuesday, March 26th and Wednesday, March 27th. Stay tuned for more information.
