Thursday & Friday – The Grind
On both Thursday and Friday nights, this Winnipeg-based entertainer will take
you through a variety of styles from rock, jazz, to folk and funk.
"His love of music is definitely what fuels the performance. Within the evening, this Winnipeg-based Entertainer will take you through a variety of styles from rock, jazz, to folk or funk. These elements are also present on his self-produced CD - Grant Leutschaft Volume I.
Grant is often accompanied on bass by Nazeem Lakay, formerly of Wild T and the Spirit."
Saturday – Diamonds & Dirt
With a mixture of classic and current country music, and a little bit of rock & roll,
this band will have everybody grooving and moving to the music.
"If you’re looking for a great party band, look no further. Manitoba’s own Diamonds and Dirt has been “bringing the music” to Westman for almost ten years now. The current crop of musicians includes Brandon’s Steve Burton (lead vocals and guitars) and Scott Bullee (guitars), and Winnipeg’s Rob McGill (bass guitar and vocals, Ryan Carr (keys, guitars and vocals) and Cameron Milne (drums and vocals).
The music is a great mix of Classic Country like Johnny Cash, today’s new Country like Doc Walker, Zac Brown, Eric Church, and Johnny Ried, and Classic Rock and Roll like the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, BTO, Credence Clearwater Revival, Steve Earl, and much much more. Stepping out on a Saturday night never felt so good. We’ll bring the music, you bring your friends. We’ll all party and dance the night away."
