FAQ

Q – After I enter the Fair, do I need to pay again to see the evening horse show and the entertainment?
A – No, your gate admission entitles you to see absolutely everything, from morning to night

Q – Can I pre-select my seat for the evening show?
A – No, it’s rush seating for the evening show. The exception to this is group sales. Groups of ten or larger (who have purchased tickets as a group) will receive reserved seats.

Q – I don’t know anything about farming…is there anything of interest for me?
A – Absolutely! The equestrian competitions are thrilling, the entertainment amazing, the agricultural awareness area is fascinating. In fact, the fair is designed with the urban visitor in mind.

Q – How much time should I allow to see the whole Fair?
A – Since the entire facility is 12 acres under one roof, you should allow yourself plenty of time. There are demonstrations and shows taking place from morning to night…lots of people allow themselves a couple of days to see everything.

Q- Am I allowed to go into the barns?
A – Yes, we encourage you to visit the barns and chat with our exhibitors. You will meet folks from all over North America and learn a lot about the agricultural and equine industries.

Q- Why is it called the “Winter Fair” when it takes place in the spring time?
A - The fair was initially held in February – which really was winter! As time went on it was moved to spring break to accommodate families, but we retained the “Winter” name.

Q – Where can I park?
A – You should park on the east side of the building, NOT in the Canad Inns parking lot.

Q – If I am staying at the Canad Inn can I access the Fair directly from the hotel?
A – You can access the Fair directly via the upper link (take the elevator at the south end of the Canad Inn). The hallway at the ground level between the Canad Inn and the Keystone Centre will NOT be open to public traffic for safety reasons, as it is filled with horse traffic.
